You might think that Orlando food is all about Disney and you might be right. But head on over to the other side of town, and you’re in for a treat, according to Chef Gerald Sombright.
Sombright is the chef de cuisine for Knife & Spoon in Orlando, which opened during the pandemic, something that Sombright says is the hardest thing he’s ever done. The Top Chef alum talks about competing on the hit show, pandemic openings and why he thought the great Escoffier was just somebody’s grandpa.
