David Page not only has a book about Food Americana, but he also created that iconic television show, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Whether or not you’re a fan of big Guy Fieri, you’ve got to admire the impulse to highlight the hidden gem restaurants – it’s kind of like what this podcast does with the hidden gem people in food and bev! David Page loves food, but don’t get him started on the term “artisanal” or “authentic” – authentic to WHAT, he’ll ask.
